The X-Treme Duty plastic stanchion is a polyethylene 46.5” tall post that is mounted on a heavy triangular base, making it perfect for both indoors and outdoors as a crowd control solution when connected with another such heavy-duty stanchion using an industrial plastic chain.

Ideal for restricting foot traffic in industrial facilities 

The handles are ribbed for a secure grip and wheels on the stanchion base to make it easy to transport. Standing 46.5” tall, these safety stanchions are connected together by a plastic chain to provide a solid barrier for restricting access in warehouses, loading docks and manufacturing facilities. 

Each stanchion features keyhole slots for attaching the plastic chain (sold separately). You can either run the chain continuously, or you can cut it to length and hang it from the built-in C-hooks. 

Additional stability is provided by the water-filled base

The plastic stanchion post comes with a detachable 19″ x 19″ x 5″ high triangle-shaped base equipped with a refillable water bladder that can hold approximately two gallons of water that adds even more stability to the X-Treme duty stanchion. Posts and stanchion bases can easily be detached, making storage and transporting them simpler.

Protective UV inhibitors for longer life 

These stanchions contain UV inhibitors that make them ideal for long-term outdoor use and prevent them from cracking or breaking. They are designed to stand up to harsh elements without fading or breaking.
